Financial Management: FAQs

1. Why should I do this course?

Financial management skills are crucial for growing a successful and sustainable agribusiness. Where these skills lack, farmers may struggle to make maximum profits and identify opportunities for growth.

2. How much does the course cost?

The course costs R1000. Apply and pay online with a safe platform. 

3. When can I enrol?

You can enrol at any point that suits you. You should be able to finish the course within six weeks at most, committing an hour daily.

4. How many hours will I need to set aside altogether?

The course takes about 60 hours at most. You can work at your own pace to complete the work and assignments.

5. What is Moodle and how will it help me?

Moodle is an app that students download to access course content, submit assignments and pose questions. This is particularly useful for students logging in via phones or tablets.

6. How many modules and assignments do I need to complete?

There are four modules and one assignment consisting of several tasks.

7. What support will I get?

Buhle’s facilitators will be available to answer students’ questions by email, on the Moodle app and, where necessary, via text. Screengrab the query and include it in the email. For all queries, email classroom@buhle.org.za.

8. Is this course accredited?

Yes, it is accredited with Agri-SETA.

9. Will I get a certificate?

Yes, upon successful completion of the course, a certificate will be emailed to you.
